Edge: Presidio Window
A red tile roof casts a cooling shadow over this Presidio window. I created this painting in response to the number of people who look at my paintings, note the clean edges, and wonder if the works are gallery wrap photoprints. One person even stormed out of the gallery insisting the work could not have been painted by hand. Oh, but it was! On this piece I have left the edge unfinished in places, to show the process I use to paint the edges so carefully. Acrylic on canvas. (For zoom: place cursor over image.)
