Ollie's Choice
After several weeks of intense focus preparing for two exhibitions, I felt ready for a break. Yet the deadline for a small works art competition I wanted to enter was just around the corner. Did I have it in me to make a final push and create one more piece? To Ollie, my feline companion, the answer was a clear "YES!" Doing one more painting would keep me nearby where I could let him out into his favorite area in the back yard. In the end, I did what Ollie wished. . . and finished this piece with about five hours to spare!
